Peace Education Hub organised a four-day online training from 22 – 25 September 2020 in cooperation with ForumZFD (BiH) and Facing History and Ourselves (FHAO) from the USA. The training was attended by the members of the PEH coordinating team, as well as partners and educators within the PEH network. The topic of the training conducted by Karen Murphy, Director of International Strategy at FHAO, was Facing History and Ourselves: teacher practices, strategies and methodologies. FHAO is an international educational and professional development organisation whose mission is to engage all participants of the educational process in an examination of racism, anti-Semitism and prejudice in general. The attendees of the training were introduced to the particular FHAO methodology, as well as various teaching materials, tools and strategies that can be used in peace education. Although conducted in virtual classroom the training was very interactive, which resulted in many engaging discussions of attendees from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, the Netherlands, Norway and Great Britain.
