Professor Judy Pace from the Teacher Education Department of the University of San Francisco has been working since last year on bridging the research-practice divide with the help of a Spencer grant. The “research communications strategy” she developed revolves around professional development and includes workshops with educators in different countries, including the work with our Peace Education Hub, podcast interviews, commentaries, and blog posts. The website offers a wide range of tools which support teachers to explore controversial issues with their students while managing the risks of teaching in a polarized political climate.
