On the occasion of the International Day of Living Together in Peace the students from three departments: Department of Pedagogy, Department of English and Department of History, participated in the workshop on Peace Education which was organized by Youth for Peace in cooperation with our Peace Education Hub (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo). The event was held on May 16, 2023.

The facilitators Emina Frljak and Azra Hodžić from the organization Youth for Peace designed and implemented the workshop and they emphasized the importance of peace work in the context of education. The students were informed about different approaches to peace education and they participated in a lively exchange of ideas and experiences. This was a unique opportunity for students involved in teacher education program to reflect upon their knowledge, skills and values related to shared life in peace and co-existence in order to learn how to create peace sensitive classrooms and peaceful work space.
